Treating vermin and pests

We do not treat vermin such as cockroaches, mice or rats, nor do we remove fleas, wasps, bees, and ants. Telford & Wrekin Council offers a service that will deal with pests that are harmful to public health (mainly rats and mice).

You can contact Telford & Wrekin council, via their website. For other pest problems such as wasps and ants, you should contact a private pest control company. You can find a list of these in your phonebook or online.

If a bird gets trapped in your chimney breast and you have a fire in use, please contact the repairs line on 01952 217217 to ensure no blockages or spillages occur, whilst following the appropriate gas regulations. If it is that you have fitted your own gas fire incorrectly and have not fitted the correct chimney cowl, this would be a chargeable repair.
