My Wrekin App
The My Wrekin App is the easy way for current Wrekin tenants to manage their home at the touch of a button.
The My Wrekin App has been developed as a result of your feedback and includes functions that Wrekin customers request the most.
It’s available to download now for free, via the App Store or Google Play, simply search for My Wrekin or The Wrekin Housing Group.
Exclusively for Wrekin tenants
The app is available for every Wrekin tenant, leaseholder or anyone who rents a garage from us.
Getting started
Here are a few tips to help you get started
Step 1 - Register
When you open the app, ‘tap here to register’.Your details - Iincluding your name, email and mobile number - need to match what we hold on our system
Step 2 - Activation
We will then send you a text message which contains an activation code. Enter the code and press ‘activate’ on the screen.
You will then see the screen to register your account. Fill in the boxes shown on the screen including setting up a secure password, which you will remember.
Step 3 - Log in
Your username and password can then be entered via the log in screen, make sure you read and accept the privacy statement and then you can get started using the app.
Hints and tips
Make sure your details (including your name or contact number) are correct on any correspondence from us. If it isn’t correct – let us know. We’ll be able to update our records.
Capital Letters
The app registration is case sensitive, do use capital letters for the first letter of your first name and surname i.e Joe Bloggs/Jane Bloggs

What our tenants think of the App
It's a thumbs up from John
John Davies has been a tenant with Wrekin Housing since the early 1980s. He currently lives with his family in Dawley and works as a delivery driver for a supermarket.
John used to drive a mile to his local post office to pay his rent – but he now does this at the touch of a button thanks to the My Wrekin App. He was told about the app by one of the Wrekin team after visiting the local office and signed up to it straight away.
John said: “Setting up was really straightforward, you just have to put in your details and it does the rest. I forgot my password at first but someone at the shop was really helpful and reset it for me”
Asked if he would recommend the app, John says “I already have! I’ve told all the guys at work. It’s so smooth and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone, definitely.”

It's made life easier for Hollie
Hollie Boweman is a full time mum with a very busy life raising two small children. Before using the My Wrekin app, the only way Hollie could pay her bills was by calling the Wrekin office during opening hours and paying over the phone.
When she moved into her current home her, a member of staff here at Wrekin told her about the benefits of the app - and helped Hollie set it up on her phone.
She says, “It was really easy to set up. I was given my username and the account was just on there”.
