This new development includes the construction of 329 homes being bought forward by a partnership comprising of Telford & Wrekin Council, Nuplace Ltd, Lovell Partnerships Ltd and The Wrekin Housing Group.

The Wrekin Housing Group will be contributing a total of 186 affordable homes to this brand new development. The properties will include 20 retirement apartments, a 76-apartment extra care scheme for people over 55 and 90 homes.

The 90 new homes will include 10 four-bed houses, 45 three-bed houses, 15 two-bed bungalows, 16 two-houses and 4 one-bed houses. All Wrekin homes will be available for affordable rent or via the Government’s ‘Rent to Buy’ scheme.

Details on how these homes are allocated will be announced shortly.

Work has commenced on site and is expected to continue at this development until early 2025.
