ShireLiving Voices Group

Our ShireLiving Voices panel come together four times a year to discuss and feedback on our services. There are between one and four representatives from each of the ten ShireLiving schemes on the panel.
At the meetings members meet with senior leaders, taking an in depth look at service areas and acting as a sounding board for any future changes. Members of the panel also take part in recruitment sessions and interviews for new staff members.
Over the last 12 months the panel have discussed and fed back on the following:
- The customer vs the staff experience
- Topics to explore and future focus
- Catering service and taste test
- New developments
- Lettings
- Analogue to digital switch
Outcomes from these meetings have included:
- A ShrieLiving Facebook page
- A ShireLiving residents closed Facebook group
- Tenant led videos of all schemes
- Steps to reach laundry facilities
- Defibrillator and water dispensers in all schemes
- New raised garden beds planned
- New catering purpose
- The Coppice lift refurbishment
- Refurbishment of furniture at some schemes and internal decoration planned for 2024
