Low cost home ownership

Starting out can be tough. Taking that first step onto the property ladder is hard. That’s the bad news. The good news is that it can be made a whole lot easier by buying a low cost, shared ownership home.

We offer affordable home ownership for people who would not otherwise be able to afford to buy a property on the open market. This is usually aimed at first-time buyers or people on a moderate income.

The scheme allows you to buy a new home in stages and share the financial responsibility of owning a home with us. Your monthly payments will usually be much lower than when buying a property through the traditional route, you’ll pay a mortgage on the share of the property that you own, and a nominal rent on the portion owned by the Group. Over time, you can increase your share in your home. Remember, you’ll be responsible for all repairs and maintenance.
