Wrekin lends a hand to the Bridgnorth Litter Pickers
We have recently donated 30 ergonomic long handled litter pickers to the Bridgnorth Litter Pickers, a voluntary group who help keep the streets of Bridgnorth clean.
Our donation will support the litter picker’s quest to help keep the town tidy.
Carol Denning, Area Manager for Wrekin, said the following: “It was great to meet the Bridgnorth litter pickers and see how our donation will help them to be well equipped and make a difference in their community. With our Community Fund we hope to support more people who want to make an impact in their local area.”
The only requirements of the Community Fund are that the activity helps the community and will benefit a significant proportion of customers and residents.
Community groups, churches, schools and employees are welcome to apply for the fund; all applicants will be considered where there is a social value benefit and they meet our criteria.
