Wrekin donates to Shifnal litter busting team

The Wrekin Housing Group has supported a group of volunteers in Shifnal through the donation of 60 litter pickers.

Known locally as the TF11 Wombles, this new group of 250 volunteers are on a quest to tackle the issue of litter in Shifnal.

TF11 Womble Bob Wilson said:

“Thanks to you all at The Wrekin Housing Group for your support of our efforts to tackle the problem of litter in Shifnal and the surrounding area. In the last month volunteers have picked up some 350 sacks of rubbish, so the donated litter pickers will be put to very good use.”
