Christopher from Malinslee is the latest winner of our monthly draw to scoop £100 in shopping vouchers for paying his rent by Direct Debit!
He’s been a Trust tenant for eight years, moving into his brand new one-bedroom home two years ago after previously living in an older property which was in need of a bit of TLC.
Christopher said: “I’m really proud of my home; it’s definitely an improvement on my old flat! I buy new things when I can to keep it looking smart. I’ll be buying some new curtains with my vouchers to keep my house looking nice.”
When asked for advice on how to keep his rent payments in advance, Christopher said: “I’ve always paid my bills by Direct Debit because it’s easy and everything gets paid on time. It also means that I’m able to budget and save from my wages every month to ensure that I’ve got a safety net in case I need it so I’m able to stay ahead.
“I work full time and have a busy life, so paying by Direct Debit takes away the stress of having to rush around and remembering to make payments. My advice to anyone who doesn’t pay by Direct Debit is to make the switch!”
