Latest Wrekin work placements to Kickstart more careers

The Wrekin Housing Group is proud to be offering further Kickstart work placements, in Shropshire and Staffordshire.

We have 18 roles available based in customer services, maintenance, administration, care and support.

The government’s Kickstart programme is for young people aged 16 – 24 years, who are currently claiming Universal Credit. The programme, launched as part of the covid-recovery plan, provides funding to create job placements with employers of all sizes.

The paid work placements are for six months and they provide the opportunity of gaining real world work experience and learning new skills.

Anyone interested needs to contact their Job Centre Work Coach to find out more. Applications can only be accepted through referrals from the Job Centre.
