As part of our ongoing efforts to keep you safe, we have put in place a number of measures to ensure the electrical installations in your home are inspected, repaired, and upgraded regularly.

We carry out an electrical inspection in your home every five years. For new tenants, we inspect and test the electrical installation before they move in.

We also carry out electrical repairs in your home and upgrade or rewire the installation when necessary. Additionally, we ensure that our electricians and contractors are fully qualified and experienced to carry out any electrical work.

There are also steps you can take to ensure your safety:

Firstly, avoid using too many extension leads. If you feel you need more sockets, let us know so we can see how we can help.
Don't leave extension leads trailing across walkways as they could cause a trip hazard.
Also, avoid placing items like coats or blankets over your fuse box as it may cause it to overheat.

It's important to note that you should allow access to your home when your electrical test is due and don't carry out any electrical work on your own or allow non-accredited persons to do so.
