Meet our new ShireLiving Voices group!

Made up of representatives from all ShireLiving schemes, the new ShireLiving Voices group will make sure tenants have a say. The group have already met with our staff to put forward their ideas.

"I joined ShireLiving Voices because of my past job. I’ve worked as a sheltered housing manager in the past and thought I could put something in and get something out of it." Maggie Harvey, Chasewood tenant, Cannock

The new committee giving tenants a voice

Wrekin’s new Customer Committee has now formed to ensure all tenants' voices are heard at the highest level. The Committee, made up of five tenant members and two Board members, will play a pivotal role in helping Wrekin make a difference to people’s lives. They will be looking at improving our services and talking to customers to find out what’s important to them. The Committee’s Chair, Kevin Morgan, also joins Wrekin’s Board as a Non-Executive Director.

"Hello, my name’s Kevin. I’ve been a Wrekin tenant for nearly seven years, living at Apley Court in Telford and I am the chair of Wrekin’s newly-created Customer Committee. The committee has been tasked with ensuring Wrekin is accountable to its customers and provides a link between tenants and the board. Being appointed as chair is a very privileged position to be in and one that carries a lot of responsibility in ensuring customers are at the heart of decision making. We're keen to hear about the issues and services that matter to you. If there’s anything you’d like us and Wrekin to look into, please get in touch. You can sign up to our Wrekin Voices update email or follow our Facebook group to find out what our Customer Committee are working on. Go to wrekin.com/voices to find out more."
