Hours of work:       36 hours per week

Salary Range:        £22,283 to £27,103 per annum based on experience

Location:               Telford, Shropshire - Hybrid

Overview:

Are you passionate about precision, organisation, and making an impact by supporting a dynamic department? Look no further! We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance Assistant to join our growing team.

As a Finance Assistant, you will:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets including aiding in the setting of service charge budgets
  • Be responsible for the departments’ email in-box, ensuring all emails are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
  • Post general ledger journals as and when required
  • Support our Assistant Accountants with day-to-day tasks
  • Have a can-do approach and ready to take the next step on the financial ladder

About you:

  • You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A - C) including Maths and English
  • You will have good written and verbal communication skills
  • You will be a problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively
  • You will be proficient in PC applications as such as Microsoft Office
