Housing and Care Manager - Oakwood


Temporary 8 month contract 

Location: Telford

Contracted hours: 37.5 hours per week. This role involves some weekends, evening and an 'on call' rota 

Salary: £41,000 per annum

In this role you will lead, manage, and support a team of employees and develop positive partnerships with all key stakeholders, ensuring that all activities are fully compliant with relevant policies, procedures and regulations.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check

What will you be doing?

No two residents or days will be the same and although our care and housing packages are adapted to individual needs, we pride ourselves on offering person centered care.

  • You will be responsible for the operational management and quality of care services, ensuring viability and promoting person centred provision to meet our customer’s needs
  • You will ensure that the care quality commission’s essential standards are met and that the highest level of customer services is provided
  • You will ensure tenants receive a high quality and responsive housing and care service in a safe and secure environment
  • You will lead, manage, and support a team of employees and develop positive partnerships with all key stakeholders, ensuring that all activities are fully compliant with relevant policies, procedures and regulations

 About You?

  • You will have experience of working in a supported housing/care environment with an understanding of the registered CQC requirements, and the Social Housing Regulation
  • You will be approachable, friendly, and a mascot of our values which we live and breathe. You will be passionate about providing excellent housing and care services as well as great customer service
  • You will be an effective communicator, with the ability to promote strong team working, organisational and interpersonal skills, as well as maintaining high levels of confidentiality are essential requirements
  • You will possess a relevant HNC or NVQ level 5 (or equivalent), or display a willingness to work towards this qualification
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to work across the region with access to a vehicle is essential for this role
