Assistant Housing and Care Manager - Telford

Salary: £29,400 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

What will you be doing?

No two residents or days will be the same and although our care and housing packages are adapted to individual needs, we pride ourselves on offering person centered care.

  • You will lead the team in the delivery of excellent tenant focused service
  • Deputise for the Housing and Care Manager and promote safety, security, and reassurance to customers by delivering excellent housing, care, and support services
  • Support the management team with all aspects of team management including recruitment, induction, training, coaching and mentoring the Housing and Care Assistants
  • Provide a first class customer service and ensure they are fully aware of the services on offer
  • Give advice, support, and assistance to customers who need to claim benefits and assist to ensure all income is collected
  • Assist in the letting of new homes to the highest standard and manage each tenancy in line with the management process
  • You will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance and high standards of building safety at all times
  • You will have the opportunity to provide a person centered service to our residents by planning their care and support, and by developing good professional relationships with them

About you:

  • You will be approachable, friendly, and a mascot of our values which we live and breathe. You will be passionate about providing excellent housing and care services as well as great customer service.
  • You will have an understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead at a Care or Housing organisation
  • Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to work across the region along with access to a vehicle
  • Professional qualification or willingness to work towards it
